Hi Everyone,

Schedules for East Anglian Whippet Club Open Show will be sent out to all members and everybody who attended last years shows by Manchester Ch Sh (at which schedules will also be available).

Our judges are for dogs Viv Phillips (Debucher) and Bitches Mandy Moncrieff (Runaround).

The show is on Saturday 22nd March 2008.

The venue is Littleport Leisure Centre Littleport Ely Cambs CB6 1PU where there is plenty of parking with a large playing field to exercise the dogs.

We will again be having our green astroturf matted ring, as well as FREE buffet and wine and drinks for everyone at the show.

Also easter prizes, sponsered prizes and the generous sponsership from Royal Canin.

Every dog entered will also be put into a draw to win 50 pounds.

I am sure if I have missed anything Cathie will add it for me!

Thanks Alayna, nothing to add, except that if anyone would like to sponsor a class or a pair of classes please pm me. Last year generous breeders , members and exhibitors donated small prizes such as Doggy gifts like collars or toys, baskets of goodies for the dogs and owners, wine, flower baskets and whippet models. . We put a list of all sponsors in the catalogue and have a beautiful display of the gifts and prizes with the donors name and kennel name on a card, These were much appreciated by the winners, and the sponsorship is a very nice extra which helps to make our show special.

Let me know if you are interested and which pair of classes you wish to support.

I should have schedules at both the whippet club and the NWA open shows. that's if Alayna has time to get them sent off to me before you know who arrives.

It's my favourite show of the year! Really lovely venue, well run and all the lovely goodies that the great committee provide.

It was such a great show last year that it made me wish I could come back as an exhibitor and enjoy some wine and try to win prizes. Super committee and excellent prizes and hospitality. I feel nostalgic for it already.
