It was a beautiful day. a good turn out and the track was perfect.
Unfortunately there was an accident in Race 2, Maureen & Tony Mitchells veteran Champion/ VC Mortons Crazy Days shot the traps & was well in the lead but what happen we do not completely know but her left hind leg was thrown and she had a terrible tumble going over & over again, an not able to get up.
Maureen & Tony took her to the RVCollege at Potters Barr, and it was thought she has a bleed on the spine or muscular problems in the back.
She is now on pain killers & anti inflametry tablets and as I write this she has made a small improvement, plenty of rest & most of all TLC.
