Sundays racing was for the Blue Gem Trophy kindly donated by Bev & Bernie McGinley in memory of there WCRCh 26lb Blue dog breed by Dave O'Dell.

Racing was in 3 preset rounds for points ,1st 4points 2 3points Etc

We had 28 dogs entered, all of very high quality ,it was like a mini open

Adding the points up we had Joint Winners for 1st Place

Chase The Bear & Cardean Patriot (Vet)

Owners decided to share the trophy so no run off was held

3rd & 4th places was joint also being The Posh Paws & Catch The Bear

Well done to all dogs

A very enjoyable days racing ,weather good to us together with very goog competition

The results do not give credit to the dogs as very close finishes were witnessed Well done to members on the line

A special mention to Tigerlily for running in her 1st Trophy meeting

and for Silver being passed for racing

We had 17 dogs trialing in each break & pleased to see some new faces

Our next meeting is 31st May which is an invitation to all Stanborough members to visit & to try the equipment for the Black Velvet Open on the 14th June

Entries need to be in by 31st May.
