can anyone post info on the east ayshire open this weekend please i havent got this months whippet news yet and i cant find it in any other? can u tell me wot day its on? wot time is the weigh in? wot is the distance etc please? cheers in advance :cheers:
 
6th august sat

150 yrds

weights 20, 25, 30, 35 2ft pr/lb 1st 2 through in heats

pups/yearlings/vets 25/35 all in

40/ 36 and no limit

weigh in till 12 noon

entry £3.20
 
Any info on how to find this track would be helpfull too, is it junction 11 ??

This is a 2ft a pound format will make a nice change ---great track and great folk ---get yourself there --- give those who try hard a bit of support ---set off early and take the tourist route there are some spectacular sights to see.

would loved to have ran in this event @ 2ft/lb but can't due to running for newton aycliffe in the teams,but i hope you have a good turn out and everything goes well.

p.s. it's worth going just for the food :lol:
 
we were thinking of going just to give the pup a run but :angry: after trialling at Manton tonight I think we shall have to begin at the beginning with her....hope they have a brilliant turn out though :) ....would have loved to have seen the scenic route :angry:
 
we were going to but it looks like the dog is injured so we wont b now. :( was looking forward to it too. hope u havw a great turn out. :luck:
 
This is just for those who are attending this meeting the traps are a little bigger than normal being 8 1/2 inch wide X 36 inch long adjust kick boards to size.I will be there Danny old pal -------see you in the morning-
