Hi Miss Madam

I live just 10 miles from Cumnock so might come along and say hi

Hi Pamalkie,

thats nice, i still have to register its just getting the time to do it, i'l def register her with this club this week & if i do take her over to race it might only be once r twice as id be coming from N.Ireland & its a bit of a journey but i would like to give my dog the experience of it, do you race your dogs at east ayrshire wrc, wot way is the racing done at this club is it just a field lure or is it out of traps or wot? as im new to this non-ped racing? :)

Sorry miss madam but I don't have a clue about racing but it sounds like a lot of fun. I didn't even realize that they done whippet racing at Cumnock might go along when it starts up just to spectate and who knows might try Jilly at it. :sweating: Don't know if she'd be allowed though as she is pedigree. She is only 4 months old and the first whippet I have owned. Until I came on k9 I didn't realize there was so many activities going on. (w00t)

I'm sure someone on k9 can help you better

At Ayr, they race out of trap's. It's straight on a piece of land in the park, beside the river. The racing is over 150 yard's. Ive no idea what handicap they use,,eg yard per pound / half yard per pound / or time, but Jim or Danny will be able to tell you's both. Pedigree whippet's are welcome. They have even had a few lurcher's having a run up.

Come along for a look :D , Everyone is welcome.
