From my contacts, I am of the view that the East of England effectively has not reinvented itself post Hunting Act. Your best bet and those of others seeking lure coursing sport in the eastern counties would be to throw in your lot with East Anglian Whippet Coursing Club.PM me for further details. I would say though, don't expect the sport to be actually on your door step. You will need to put yourself out and motor a few miles, but not that far in relation to the sport you will undoubtadly enjoy. Depends how much you want to see your dogs run. It's up to you.
