I was just wondering, Ellie Star,Miss Torri,and Ellie may,where, and still are fast bitches,there was two other pups from that litter,that went over to Mike Palmer,i think.Was just wondering what happened to them Mike, as they too must have been pretty useful.It would be nice if someone in the know could fill us in as to there whereabouts,and how they fared in the racing game ,and if they were good enough for the None Peds, or were they raced in the lurcher scene too.Im sure Frankie would like to know how all Miss Ellie's pup's done.In fact im sure we'd all like to know,as weve heard all about the others.Has Miss Ellie thrown all champs in her first litter or what. ...Billy...

Billy as far as I know we have two of the pups, Rose has another and 4 went to England there were 7 alltogether. The only one known to me is Ellies Star another one broke its leg and is now is a dogs home as for other two I have no idea, Gary farmer could probably tell you becuase we shipped them to him. That was actually Ellies second litter as she was bred before and produced Come on Earnie and Come on Sue.

well i will explain one more time,1976 was the last show i went to until aug 2005 we went to our local show and won everything with the father and mother of the pups, well didnt everyone have something to say??? a bit like here with all the back stabbing and bitching and not just being straight forward and sayind it our face,so we thought we would buy a caravan and go around the shows for a year well i met up with a lot of old freinds and i must say made some new ones,BUT at this stage the mother of the pups had died when the pups were 4 month old my working bitch whos 21 inch wont chase a lure only to do the long jump which she jumps 24 feet regulary, any way iam stood at a show with the pups 5 months old and mikes freind joe says i bet you £20 them 2 dogs of yours wont even finish that simulated coarse,NOW i know theres a few on here who will tell you this as they saw it, So the bets on now theres 40 plus good dogs on this card for the saturday so for a bit of fun i run them anyway the merle won my black one, then she won the rest, got to the final and won well i was shocked and couldnt beleave it now the tongues were going i was cruel i was this and that,NOW you can see from me being on here iam a bit of a wind up merchant always have cant help my self but deep down i will help anybody,SO I CAME BACK ON THE SUNDAY BLOODY HELL more dogs iam sure word had got about so YES i put her in again the merle did the same but this time she got to the final against her sister,now i put it up on one of the forums the shit i got i couldnt beleave it WELL YES I COULD BUT ??? hey i know these dogs better then any body,so that was it all over the country they never lost a puppy race won every show in the south west they went in always one won a sim on2 day events saturday are sunday then althorpe 60 dogs dad won saturday pup won sunday raced of for £100, pup won, tatton saturday and finalist sunday she cut a gate won sunday hamphire, cornish champions x3 events west country champion x4 lurcher world simulated champion and lots more as pups now at this time, i was getting shit everywere behind my back not one person came to me and said anything thats not my way with all my faults iam up front so the only one i lost was simulated at midlands she got knocked out in semis against the winner who beat her aunt but i most say i beat that dog at chomley and the cornish championship, now i have some excellant dogs here especially in the field and for someone to come on here and say my dogs are average got up my nose and it was only at the midland after she won the puppy racin he couldnt praze her enough i had at that time beat all his dogs with these 2 pups in differant events but also lost to them as well as his wernt pups but its all meant to be fun but it not always like that

Hey billy i HAD Tori registered last year as i had planned to give her a run with non-peds as i thought she wud have held her own with them but i NEVER ended up racing her with non-peds, So this year i never re-registered her & i can honestly say Tori has only ever raced in lurcher racing and has NEVER been entered or raced in a non-ped race although i wish i had :- " :thumbsup:

Anyway Mark considering the shit you got and how it affected you, why would you torture others who are doing well and trying their best, for example Rose and Tori? Just saying, anyway you are starting to sound like some doggy people from here who are also a bad loosers and who when someone wins something has to put them down because "They did better" at another stage. main point is my dad has had lurchers well over 30 years now and only ever kept under 23" dogs as were we live and hunt it is all small fields and orchards and he believes that the bigger dogs dont suit these grounds, he has seen some bigger dogs owned by his mates working along with him in these grounds and the small dog always out performed the bigger dogs every time my dad always says he might be biased against the bigger dogs but give him a smaller dog anyday!! we dont have many big fields so bigger dogs dont suit us :thumbsup:
