Hi all congratulations to everyone on Sunday, thanks for the photos Jill, will be sending a few to the Whippet News.

What puppies we have comming through for next year, I am so proud to be Secretary of the Caledonian with such a team of wonderfull people, and excellent dogs.

Also The non Peds have done great and mavelous support all year and our wonderfull Beagles with their great performance.

Can i mention a big thank you to wee Susan from Sue and Stevie for being their personal trainor, and i hope to see a great turn out for our A.G.M. will send out the date in the near future for we all have big planning to do for the new season where everyone will be part of this big event (FIRST SCOTTISH OPEN] May 3rd 2009 Am really looking forward to this.

Roll on the first SCOTTISH OPEN, what a super year for us at the Caley, id like to thank Emma for bein my personal trainer----non stop dog walker, 9 trophy races and the 9 in the bag AND would hav also got the light weight jacket with Braidy Boy if we"d ran the 9 points meetings instead of just 5 dew to kennel cough.! lookin forward to the nite at Armadale greyhound track if it happens AND lookin forward to runnin the pups next season and THE PUPPY DERBY :cheers: ROLL ON NEXT SEASON.! :thumbsup:

Hi Mark why not come for a weekend break you may end up with a double celebration taking the Big Scottish Cup Winner home with you, guaranteed a fabulous weekend, there will be lots getting put on for you all, even have hired a great music band for entertaining on Saturday evening

Ive heard that there is a few cracking pup's coming through and next year, I think they are open class dogs,,so get open racing them, Sue/Steve and Scott :thumbsup: Also a few other's that I think if wrong,,Scott bred :thumbsup: Forgot the dogs names and the owners too :b

I sometimes think I should race Gizmo, but I think he like's the good life of eating what ever he want's and when he wants it and just chase the cat's out of the garden and he does love that Gizmo has not put a lb on in since we gave up racing him,,,is he telling me something , Robbie was put on 2 lbs, so he's happy enough :lol:

My 2 kids are ill at the moment, Rachel took ill on Saturday and Gary on the Sunday ,,Gary has to see the Doc again of Friday as he is very ill,,,So my time just now is taking care of them, but do try and get on k9 when ever I can

God if it's not the kid who are sick,,It's the dogs :lol: :lol: :lol:

We will see yous all in 2009 :cheers: ,,maybe PART TIME :lol: :lol:

PS ,,Maggie is there camping that weekend,,if so,,what dates can we camp at the track ?

OHH PPS,, This is one of the best racing tracks in the UK,,,Ive seen loads over the last 20 odd yrs racing,,this is one of the best :thumbsup: ,,so get there if you can .

Everything will be posted into the whippet news plus in the topics on line most forums. will be a fabulous weekend for all plenty great races , for all age groups and distances,

Open qualifies for W.C.R.A. Superstars and Top Ten points, valid passport holders only and overweight dogs will not run.

For most people who are traveling a distance there will be someone on hand to greet you all to settle in, SATURDAY will be well organized with lots of fun band starting around 5pm for music and bevie lovers which will be available on site at all times, we have our own refreshments and eats on site in our wee garden patio, trophies jackets prizes and rossettes will be given out, plenty of parking space and one of the best rated race tracks in Britain, keep following the progress as there is plenty more to come, will be well advertized and flyers will be given out

continue to ask any questions and i will be on hand to help at any time as we all are so looking forward to this event and much appreciate everyones support.
