Anyone got any good ideas for indoor entertainment for a young whippet on these cold wet days? I'm guessing that when she is a bit older she'll be happy to sleep until the sun reappears, but at 8 months old she is getting a touch restless! You can only play ball up and down the stairs for just so long.

It's a nightmare isn't it! My boy is 2 and he hates the rain and will not go out in it at all but still expects me to entertain him. He will sleep a while but then starts to mope around and looks for trouble like digging the sofa, eating his bed and roo rooing at me to get the rain to stop :blink:

I save boxes and put a couple of treats in and sellotape them up which keeps him amused for a while or give him a bone but that doesn't work too well as he likes to eat them outside rather indoors.

I will be interested to see what others do as well as I could do with some tips.

when the weathers bad mine run round the backs of the sofas and chairs -"Wall of death" style!!!!!!!!

My lot have food balls and filled kongs to keep them busy if the weathers too bad ......Oh and Eric and Tink do a little dancing to music :b
