Eurovision Song Contest 2007 In Helsinki

Yes I am (w00t) I love the comments made by our commentator Terry Wogan. He does so like to have a dig at all the political voting. We all know what country is going to vote for which and that is before even one song has been sung. I just love it :- "

Well it's good for a laugh (w00t) I thought the band last year "Lordi" were great  .......More rock required

Terry Wogan is very funny on this event :D

The Norwegian song was not among the ten semifinalists who get to sing in the finals :- (

From the results, it seems it might be a good idea to move our country to Eastern Europe (or perhaps send better songs).

Liked: Hungary, Turkey, Serbia

I have also heard the Swedish song this year, which I think is great.

I Will be watching, as always!! Not my kind of music but I do like ESC!!! I will be cheering for Sweden, as for once actually a group I listen to on a regular basis won the Swedish competition. Quite a good song but not as good as some of their older ones.

I saw the video with the Finnish woman the other day and liked her voice and the song but maybe this song and performance is to "depressing" for the TV-crowd???

Anyway, it’s especially nice that Finland finally won the ESC and is the organisers this year!!!

 Ill be watching it, Its a great laugh!!!.

Last year I voted for Lordi. I went to see them play when they were in Birmingham last year.

They were even better live!!! :)

We are ESC addicts (w00t)

I'm so sad we will miss it this year, but will record it and watch when we get home next week. I watched the semi final, and was disappointed at some of the songs that were left out. I thought Netherlands, Switzerland and Norway should have been in, :( and who in their right minds would vote to keep the Georgia and Moldova songs????

I reckon the dead cert winner will be Latvia - but Slovenia, and UK's Scooch must be in with a good chance too.

We sit and score them all out of 10, and normally we are not too far out - except for last years result with Lordi winning - sorry but it was absolute rubbish

Anyway - enjoy

Now it starts (w00t) . Exciting! :) Good luck everyone! :luck:

Well seeing as we cannot vote for our own, I think Sweden will get my vote.

I think its been dire this year. Seems all the reasonable songs didnt get through....
