On tonight . We only watch the scoring :D The UK rarely do well,
Sam Ryder deserved to win in 2022 but he came second to Ukraine as they got the sympathy vote . He is touring America at the moment.

I sort of love and hate it. I like the OTT theatre of it.

I've only heard little snippets of the UK entry, and I quite like it. That's not like me, I don't really bother about music and almost never have a radio on, or choose to listen to music.

I watch it, but every year I ask myself why (as I'm doing right now). Possibly just to annoy Mr N. Neither of us like overproduced techno-electro-autotuned pop.

I would watch the voting, but it's waaaaay past my bedtime.

Who won? We used to watch it when Terry Wogan supplied the commentary - great fun but now, I side with Mr N, it doesn’t seem to supply skill nor humour.

I never really understood Eurovision, never really watched it but I remember it being on the TV when I was a nipper. From the little I see of it now on the news it seems to be nothing more than a vehicle for wokeness - men with beards dressed as women, all campy gayness, LGBTQ+ (how many more letters and symbols can we add). Not for me!

I gave up after the first few songs - I'm all for 'wokeness', which to me just seems to mean treating everyone equally and letting them be and wear what they want to be and wear, but I would just like some decent music.

RGC, apparently Austria won.

I couldnt watch it . The flashing lights gave me a headache. I can imagine they make you watch this is in Purgatory ! :D

We watched the voting. Austria pipped Israel at the last moment to win . I think we came about 18th.

I didn't even realise it was on, but couldn't watch it anyway, because I was at a murder mystery night. Good fun, great night. Wouldn't miss it for Eurovision.

Wow , That is exciting. Did the Butler do it? :D

I watched Eurovision as a child . I remember Sandie Shaw and Lulu winning.

I was actually engaged by “Cloak and dagger” to act in two of its murder mystery nights some years ago. I was poisoned in one and I’ve forgotten how I was killed in the other - in either scenario I didn’t make it to dessert. I remember that on one of the nights the paying participants had imbibed much and maintaining the semblance of a ‘stiff’ wasn’t easy under their inspection.
