Hi someone once said that "Pedigree whippet racing was one of the best kept secrets in the world". Well the people at Honeyhills PWRC and Harvel PWRC both in the Southeast would like to invite anybody with whippets or any breed that is willing to chase to come and visit us and see what goes on down here.
We will be willing to talk to you about whippet racing and allow your dog to have two or three trials (for a nominal fee), whether you've got a show or working whippet, you don't even need to have a pedigree for your dog just bring him/her down to have a fun day out with other dog loving people.
Honeyhills has a website www.honeyhillspwrc.webeden.co.uk, on it, it has a section "new to racing" which explains in detail what goes on in the sport. The site will give you dates on which we are running, it's usually every two weeks between March and November with Harvel on the alternative sunday. The addresses are also on the Honeyhills website.
So come what have you got to lose, spend a Sunday afternoon out and at Honeyhills you will even get a nice cup of tea.
Lets let the secret out.
