Just a quick note asking how much exercise i should be giving my 18 week old whippet.Obviously he sleeps a lot and when he wakes he plays in the garden. Can anyone give me some idea of how long i should be taking him out for walkies. Thanks

probably enough at the mo, then just small walks...

well thats what i would do

I think this has been covered in the FAQ section it might be worth searchig for it.

General rule seems to be approx 10 mins per day, although some people dot walk their puppies until they are 5 months. We carried ours on walks so that they got used to things asap.

Any piccies of the puppy?

:D

I'm one that falls into this camp!!! They will go to ringcraft and out & about in the car but not 'exercised', per se, until 5 months(ish) and then they start off for about 20 mins per day and gradually increase from there.
