what would you call a fair price for a puppy ? even today you see such a diference in price for pups ( all bona fida "killing machine" perents) you see them from £50 to £500...any one no why ?? :w :p :w

I read somewhere that £400 is about the average price for a Whippet puppy, but who knows? :w

I don`t know about racing/coursing Whippets but for a show bred Whippet you would expect to pay between £250.00 and £400.00.We are still

a`cheap` breed compared to many others . My friend has just had a litter of Weimaraners,(9) neither the dam or sire has seen a show ring but she is asking ,and getting £650.. per pup. I know they are bigger but Cocker Spaniels are the same price too :0

For a good quality racing/show/coursing whippet you should expect to pay around £250-£300, although for if you pick up loot they ask around £200!

Thank god we don't have Bulldogs, they can fetch upto £1500!

Regards,

Scott.

CHICKEN FEED I PAID A FAIR PRICE FOR MY LAGUNA BITCH (UNDER A GRAND)WHEN SHE WAS 2 AND HAS BEEN WORTH EVERY PENNY BUT I HAVE KNOWN PUPS GO FOR INSANE PRICES ONLY TO BE KEPT AS PETS WHICH IS USUALLY DONE BY THOSE WITH TOO MUCH MONEY.
