Here is Fergal at 6 months to see how he's changed!

Sorry - the photo isn't brilliant, and it looks like I've gone and stood him on something that slopes up towards his back end!

We've been to a few ringcraft classes now and he loves it - loves all the attention!! Now he's 6 months we'll have to try and find a little show to take him to!

Yeah - bit of a funny photo!!!!

He looks really nice though  Got some lovely features, and what a bonus if he likes showing too - if only you could bottle that attribute!!

Take him a long to an open show, then you'll be hooked. I just wouldn't overdo the shows and ringcraft too much as some whippys can get very bored after a while. I did too much ringcraft with my first whippet and now he is like a sack of spuds in the ring!!

Good luck with him :luck:

Agree with Joe there . dont over do a puppy , I did the same with Simon , every show going , But when I left him at home and brought him out in Vet , he loved every miniut of it

Fergal look s lovely , try standing him facing up hill if you have a slope , it dosnt matter which way we show them .

but he certainly looks promising from the photo ., as far as you can tell

Fergal's lovely  I can't believe how much he's grown! :huggles:

Yes Fergal looks very promising, just go and have a bit of fun with him.

I agree with Karen he looks very promising. Go out and have some fun!!! :D

Glad you like him! :D I need to find out about some companion shows near us - which magazine is the best to buy to find out about them?

The other question though, is is he going to be too big? I measured him again last night and he's now about 20 1/2 inches  ... how big is too big??

Thank you!

His height is fine so thats one problem out of the way. He shouldnt grow too much more though.

Fergal has a lovely outline. I'll join the chorus and say: Go out and have some fun!!!

:D To find shows near your get the local paper shop to order you the newspapers either Dog World or Our Dogs...... most shows are listed in the back. :D
