The handler should have been sacked on the spot ,he hasnt even been suspended

I really do despair at such cruelty. I hope he gets what he deserves.

RIP poor dogs. :huggles:

What a terrible death these dogs must have had. :(

Because its POLICE probabley all this PC PLOD will get is your a naughty boy.

If it where jo public they would get prisons sentence ban on keeping dogs (so right they should to. ) heavey fine.

But oh no bet this IDIOT gets nothin.

POLICE they can't even look after animals how can they look after us humans.

And here's a quote on the story ..............

Councillor John Clarke, chairman of Nottinghamshire Police Authority, said the dog section, which is now made up of 24 dogs and 35 officers, was a very close-knit team.

He added: "I know the team will be mortified. It's tragic when you consider we have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on kennels. Unfortunately tragedies do happen."

Bloody man seems more concerned about money than the poor dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tragedies do indeed happen. This is one that was easily preventable and surely to goodness a dog handler should know the dangers of leaving dogs in hot cars on one of the hottest days of the year.

I hope the RSPCA prosecute the officer responsible for these dogs just as they would anyone else.
