got some haddock and some cod fillets today from asda ,but i have no idea what to do with them as most of you no i cant cook very well ,any body got any low fat recipes they could share :D
 
INGREDIENTS:

* 1 large leek, cleaned and thinly sliced

* 4 cod fillets or similar mild-tasting, firm white fish

* Freshly ground black pepper

* 1/2 cup nonfat milk

* 1 cup broccoli florets

* 1/2 cup reduced fat shredded cheese

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray Heat a small skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray on medium heat; add leeks and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Scatter sliced leek over bottom of a baking dish large enough to hold the fish in a single layer.

Lay fish on top of leeks, scatter broccoli florets around fish. Sprinkle fish and vegetables with freshly ground black pepper. Pour milk over fish and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake uncovered for 15-18 minutes.

Serves 4.

1 medium head of red lettuce

2 hard cooked eggs, yolks removed

2 medium, vine-ripe tomatoes cut into wedges

1 cup cooked asparagus tips

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 small yellow pepper, cut into strips

1 7.5 ounce can of pink salmon

For the Vinaigrette Dressing:

1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tbsp water

11/2 tsp Dijon mustard

1 garlic clove, crushed

PREPARATION:

Rinse and dry lettuce leaves. Tear into pieces and divide among four bowls or plates.

Combine chopped cooked egg whites, tomato, asparagus, onion and pepper. Arrange on top of lettuce.

Drain salmon and flake on top of vegetables.

wots asparagus tips :lol: didnt you do domestic science at school, look get down t fishmongers or supermarket, not netto :lol: get some dover sole, season with salt n pepper i like a good knob of lurpak with mine, put in roasting bag, bang it in the oven gas mark 4, when done serve with freshly steamed veggies of your choice, boy can i just mosey in the damn kitchen, love my vittals i do and love cookin em,

pastas, sauces , u name it i cook it, shop bought bilge muck u dunna need it

Just put your cods in batter,what the hell,i know its fattening but i bet it will taste better than the fish n chips takeaways
