Hi there,

I thought I post this as whippet owners should be aware...

I used the 4Flees protector treatment from Johnson's on our dogs...unfortunately discovered that our whippet is allergic to some ingredience in the drops...his face got swollen several hours after I used the drops on him..

We went to the wet - he got anti-inflammatory injection and antihistamine pills...he is back to normal now...

(Now I will go back to herbal flee treatment which he never had problem with...)

Just though would be useful for other whippet owners to hear about this experience as whippets seem to be more sensitive than other dogs...of course, some whippets might be fine with this particular treatment...just to be aware..

Thanks for the warning, sorry you had to find out the hard way with your guys. I use pyrethrum insecticide flea powder as the main ingredient in choosing a flea powder and so far it has suited sensitive skin.
