Hi All I have joined this forum to get some advice hopefully so please forgive me for getting straight down to a question ……has anybody out there got any recommendations for a good non slip flooring for a kitchen /diner area … I have a 4 year old lively labrador !!!! We are having a new floor and would like to minimise the amount of mats we put down. Can’t seem to determine whether tiles/ vinyl etc would be best? Any suggestions would be welcome
Thanks

Hello.
We have a tiled kitchen floor and 6 to 7 dogs but we do use a couple of mats to collect some of the mess and stop it from spreading too far.

Some of the Amtico /karndean flooring is non slip it is quite expensive but lasts for years:)

Thankyou ….it’s not so much the mess I’m worried about it’s the dog slipping and hurting herself !!!!! Has your tiled floor got texture to it ?

We are looking to replace our parquet floors with slate tiles as these are textured and dont slip so much ...
