my friends bitch has just had this, swollen hind legs and feet, she was very uncomfortable with it but it started resolving within a few hours after the birth and she was back to normal after a couple of days,

i think it must have been the sheer volume of pups restricting both her movement and the lymphatic drainage system causing her to get "cankle's"

she had 10 pups btw
