what are everyone’s opinions on dog walkers who walk a large number of dogs together?

• I know a lady who runs her own dog walking service and she takes out a group of upto 8. She only takes them to big open fields where she can assess who else is walking there and never lets the whole group charge over to another walker. I have been out with her myself and witnessed this and the control she has.

• however, today there were some walkers that had obviously joined together and formed a mega pack. All the dogs were snapping at each other and running all over the place. They were also walking in an area where they couldn’t nessasarily gage who would approach them next.

Thoughts?

I put my thoughts in your rant thread. Nine is too many IMHO. In your situation that dog certainly wasn't under control.
