Thanks Sue & Tony for a great afternoon out, shame that due to having to pick the car up from the garage we missed a lot. Nice to see dogs performing so well (think ours was a bit bemused by it all!) Good luck to everyone tomorrow, if weve got any good pics, we'll post them later.

hi boo and jd u r very welcome, glad u really enjoyed it, perhaps next time u can give jazzy a run up, i think she will like that, shes a lovely dog u must be proud. sorry about the bit of row u had to witness but i am not having a committee member swear at me, if it was a member they would have got a warning letter sue

No you had every right to kick up Sue & you should lodge a complaint.

I must admit, my afternoon was only marred by this. I was standing near the traps taking photographs, when I saw an incident take place which called for an owner to ask if a re run was necessary. The incident itself wasnt a major problem, but the stewards reaction to the request was, as he reacted in a foul mouthed & disrespectful manner to the complainant. Unfortunately, I was with a client to whom I had recommended whippet racing & seemed rather interested at the time, who soon seemed rather fed up with the whole thing soon after.
