Just got back from Fordingbridge Open. This club has a lovely set up, for anyone who has never been there it is worth the journey, they have a childrens play area with a paddling pool, very welcome on a hot day like today, a river running along side the race track where you can fish if that's what you like to do, and very friendly members who will always make you feel very welcome.

Now on to the racing, although there was only 35 dogs who took part today the racing was good, very friendly atmosphere and good humoured rivalry.

Yep 100% doreen, Fordingbridge is the most family orientated track I've visited...a lovely venue...it should be supported more...well done to all the winners...

A bit of a hollow victory really. The lure broke with 20 or so yards to go even though KV was only just infront. Berts dog and mine had a small knock turning for the lure and he started to limp.

We could have gone for a rerun but Bert being the gent he is with drew his dog injured.

But being the gent I am, I will be humble and take the win :cheers:
