Hi everyone, I'm new here, I would like to know if anyone feeds their puppy Forthglade Menu? My boxer puppy is 18 weeks, her name is Ruby. Would anyone know if there is a mixer? thanks! :)

from what i read their winstons range suggest mixer but i dont think they sell one though?...personally however i wouldnt add mixer to the complete diet because imo it would upset the balance of the food...but if it says it on the box then im confused????i thought forthglade menu was in a pouch?

i have edited the website on my last post so you can look at the rest of the range..

Hi, I dont think I have the complete food but just the menu range, chicken, lamb and beef.

It says on the box ' This is a complementary pet food for dogs and cats and may be fed with a good quality Mixer' Would you take that as should be fed with or not? thanks for your help :)

this is what it says on the website...."Complete Dog Menu does not need added mixer"......if the box says mixer"may be added" i suppose it means you can if you want but it does not need it....so if this is the one you feed then i wouldnt add mixer imo

maybe someone else who feeds their dogs this might be able to give you somemore info?

im sorry...ive just spent ages reading it all and now it makes sense....

the pouch with the cat and dog pic on the front is just meat..

the pouch with the just the dog on the pic is meat plus rice/barley

so you must have the one just with just meat......???

because dogs do not need to have carbs in the form of mixer/grains a lot of people dont add it and just give meat /veg diet...

some people do ...

so if it is just the meat one you have you do have the choice without causing a imbalance in the diet to add mixer...

also they do do a mixer....

sorry for the confusion but their website is a bit rubbish and they call their stuff very similar names

hope this makes sense

complementary means it's not a complete  which is why itcan be fed with a mixer.
