Well on Sunday I paid 86.9p a litre for Deisel watching the news it looks like it's going to go a lot higher in the near futur on the news they have just predicted a high of £150 a litre.

I wonder how this is going to effect the Open race entrys as the price of fuel rises.

I just filled my tank up before the price rises again  It really is getting ridiculously expensive isn't it?!

surely to keep Britain moving the goverment have got to show good will (with the elections coming) and drop the tax's on fuel to try and keep prices down a bit.

2 weeks ago I was only ONLY! paying 81.9p a litre so when your doing 300 miles to and from an open the cost soon mounts up.

Last month I was 'only' paying 76.9p a litre - and I remember grumbling about that

She loves me after all (well vaguely likes me anyway, well sometimes!)

Just though Hannah did I do the right thing giving you the pain killer or was the headach for Chris's benefit :p

Sshh ....... ........I'm poorly actually :( , i've still got a bloody headache and sore throat

Mark,

I've had a word with Diesel and we reckon he can produce about 4 or 5 litres a day, to you 50p a litre! :clown:

Ithink there mite be fuel blockades to deal with as well mark. as well as the price. hope this does not spoil any of the opens

Nice 1 Scott.

John, it's times like this that shows even more how far we are away from the Open scene Sunday cost us about £30 in Diesel if it goes up as they recon we'll be looking at £50-60 for the same trip can you emagin what Rochdale to Cornwall would cost for those 2 Opens? doesn't bear thinking about does it.

I can see it costing clubs a lot of entrys for their opens especially the likes of the Northern & Cornwall who are out in the sticks so to speak.

you all know who to vote for!
Who then !!! I personally think that they are all as useless as each other ..

I agree that the price of fuel is disgusting and i believe that the last time the truckers had a blockade the price of fuel wasn't far off what it is now... ..so come on you bloody useless politicians and get your head out of your asses and sort this problem out once and for all !!!...

Just filled up ready for weekend just in case? as the local news recons at least an increase of 10p a litre by weekend

there is a petrol station in Bispham (north Blackpool) that is reportedly charging £1.09 per litre for unleaded!

it really is getting beyond a joke! I know the Saudis have said they'll step up production but then there's the Government wanting to add 2p a litre! :(

i'm suprised how few racers have commented on this thread? as at the end of the day it effects us all.

i filled up last night but i needed to anyway...i suppose i'll have to drive nicely and be economical with my car
