Thanks for the offer Denise , it's nice to know that we can depend on you and others like you who have already offered to help out on such an important week-end in the BWRA racing calender. Once we get there I'll have a better idea of who is available to help, as we all know anything can happen to disrupt peoples plans so we can sort it on the day.

Once again thanks, your offer is very much appreciated.

kind regards Doreen

You are absolutely right John, that was agreed at the AGM, but sadly as with a lot of things as the racing season gets underway these things get forgotten or are not considered important enough, and you can not force a region to nominate some one to do the work, especially if that region does not have any one who is willing to help. Names were requested but none of the regional secretarys sent any. But in all fairness, quite a few of the regional secretarys do offer to help on the day themselves, and as I have already said other members have said that they are willing to help.

Piglet, you are obviously quite upset about something but can I just say that I have appreciated it very much on all the times that you have helped out at the BWRA events when I have asked you, hope you still intend to come to the racing even if it's only to watch.

kind regards Doreen

im just sick of gettin s**t from loads of people so why not let the people that have give me s**t get of thier fat ar**s and do something for the sport instead of the same people doin it continously people are moaning bout every one slagging the sport (inc me) but who is trying to save it?? the same few!

this was supposed to be a light hearted fun topic do people ever get sick of moaning and complaining

Have really had my fill this last few days - for those of us who want the sport to move forward lets get on with it, if that means "water under the bridge" on a few subjects then so be it imo, how we are at the minute is doing no-one any good whatsoever, i will do anything i can to help the sport but you get a bit disheartened when all you hear is people moaning. Can people not put their energies into building up more interest in the sport and getting more good press - can you imagine what kind of impression this is giving at the moment? What must outsiders think, it really is no wonder there's more people leaving than what's joining when the impression people (from our own sport) give out.

If you have a problem with someone then say it to their face, don't make snide remarks about it on here (giving the site a bad reputation) if you have a problem with the sport then either do something to make it better, pack in or grin and bare it.

 RANT OVER

and back to the topic - me and Jac are taking the puppies for their first proper whippy meeting, might have a wonder into the clubhouse at night ;) and am looking forward to cheering on mates dogs :D

As i said a few weeks ago k9 used to be a great place to debate and have decent banter its really gone down hill this last 12 months or so ...shame really as Nigel and Judy have put a lot of money and effort into the place.

If you feel that bad pig then you should prove to the people calling you that they talking s==t and get on with your racing, i know you have raced dogs along with your dad for many a year, theres always been the idiots and you were one of the first to laugh at them, so why let it bother you now.

its a fun topic now so il have my fun with the dogs with the mckay family we have got our pups and 1 for tony cooper il c every one who is not goin to scotland at oldhall at the weekend...

r u comin here vicky with the pups?

ok then me n pocket and paul with little rascal are staying for the sat night i dont no who else is stopping we had a gud night last week so it mite b worth while the run out
