What funny/odd/strange things are your dogs scared of?

Just bought a toy unicorn for my niece’s birthday, Misty is scared of it because it ‘neighs’ :D

When Timber was a pup he was afraid of the little foot bridges over streams. He doesn't like statues.

Flies and other buzzy insects, and dustbin lorries, though they're understandable really. Water unless he's absolutely sure he can step into it safely and it won't turn out to be deeper than expected - this started after he jumped into a lake and discovered that he couldn't swim.

A shallow (couple of inches) tray of water in the garden that I put out in the hope he'd like it to cool off in. Even when I threw treats in it he reacted as if it was an acid bath.

The sound of thunder. He managed to navigate his way behind our TV the other night when thunder started

the sound of the thermostat switch, just B4 the heat or AC kicks in - the fan & the sound of air in the vents didn't trouble him, only the almost-unnoticeable metallic click of the switch activating.

A 90# Lab x Dane, belonging to a client - my nominee for world's biggest wuss. :p
It took 6-weeks of B-Mod to get him to notice but not react, to the sound of the switch - vs pace, shiver, go off his food, shut down, hide, stress-puke, or ________ .
