I was wondering if anyone would be interested in coming along for a walkies session in this local area?

There are a few choice places, Southport beach being one of them. What do you all think? I know for Sure Tascha and Mysti would love to meet some new whippie friends.

Sounds great Andrea, we can get all the pups together for a play.

looking forward to it.

Would love to if im around when its arranged for. In Liverpool, so all the places you suggest sound good.

How does Sunday 30th October sound? I can't actually do the Saturday, as I have to run my DH to Manchester.

If that suits, what time do you all suggest? I was thinking the earlier the better, then we can have as much of the beach to ourselves as possible.

Let me know.

Andrea xxxx

Hiya Andrea,

we'd love to meet you at Southport beach, how early are you talking ?

Been to Formby beach this afternoon for over 3 hrs, it was a gorgeous sunny p.m. but lots of people there and the only other whippet was Ella's brother Riley whom we'd arranged to meet, and a lovely ex-racing greyhound we saw in the carpark.

Is Mysti fit for running about again now ?

Julie D

Yes Julie, Mysti is fit for running around again now. Thanks for asking :)

I'm not sure what time, I'm looking for input from other people on what they think. Me, I'm an early riser, always have been and always will be lol.

What does everyone think?

my gosh you're right about being an early riser, starting a topic on k9 before 7 am

(w00t) I'm more active at the other end of the day !

It will be more free on the beach early tho' :D

Hi Andrea sounds good to us but not sure if pennymeadow can get up that early. (w00t) Does anyone else in the surrounding area fancy an early morning stroll the more the merrier.

Andrea,

Will I need a K9 badge or will you be able to recognise me :- "

Mark, I'm not so sure I'll recognise you, I think a big name badge is in order for you lol. How many of your whippets will you be bringing?

So, it sounds like there's going to be a few of us there then. Are any of you put off by bad weather? I will walk the girls in any weather, they don't mind at all.

Any hints on times yet?

Hi Andrea,

i'll probably bring 4 to walk and i'll have a few otheres with me (in the van) that we'll be putting round Westhoughton on the way back in readyness for the big night at Belle Veiw Greyhound track.

Could do with the walk being early on.

Looks like Pennymeadow Will have to be up very early (w00t) or camp the night on the beech hey mark is the barbi going to be in the van for breaky :- "

Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate can be arranged, you know me i've not lost my boy scout training.

Early sounds really good to me too. So, is 8am too early for anyone???

So where we meeting then.

I'll wear a white carnation then you can recognise me :b

Don"t forget the camera Andrea you might be able to get some action shots.
