WE HAVE AT TO CANCEL THIS MORNING DUE TO TRACK WATERLOGGED TRACK WAS GETTING VERY WET LAST NIGHT BUT THOUGHT WE WOULD BE OK BUT MORE RAIN IN THE NIGHT SORRY WE HAVE AT TO CANCEL

Gordon, Gill and myself travelled 300 miles round trip to Harlow this morning , arriving there at 10.15 to find the opened had been cancelled about 10am. We can except that the track was pretty soft and there was water stood on the finishing straight and it was the right decision to cancel, but if the information between the track management and a committee member on Sat night had been posted on k9 and then again early this morning to tell us how much rain they had through the night, I think its fare to say quite a few would have stayed at home. As normal if weather is a bit "iffy" we checked on k9 several times Sat night and again Sun morning for a weather/track up-date but found nothing. Lynda.
