Just got home from Belgium a bit earlier than I expected as George has decided to go walkabout whilst I was away. Poor Alfie has spent the past two days combing the streets of Bicester for him and the lady who was looking after him is distraught.

I have just done a load of posters and once I have had a rest I will going out to try and find him. A bit worrying though is that he hasnt been spotted since yesterday.

Tomorrow I will starting the ring round of all the local kennels. Local radio wont put anything out as apparently they have had problems with people trying get the rewards.

Thank god it hasnt been as cold as it was but cold enough.

One part of me hopes someone has picked him up but the other half is saying why havent they handed him in?

Emily is now home but story will have to wait

OH dear :( :( Hope you have some good news soon--and you find him safe and well :luck: :luck: :luck: Poor little mite :(

Awww no :(

I know you probably already know this but visit the local kennels rather than ring etc as they dont always tie up a missing dog with it's owners description.

Good luck in finding him :luck: :luck:

Oh Jan no! I've just burst into tears and I think I'm about to be sick...

come home George....

Best of luck in finding George Jan, keeping everything crossed here :luck: :luck: :luck:

We're thinking of you Jan. :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: :luck: :luck: for George.

OMG how awful :( - best of luck with finding little George :luck: :luck: :luck:

I wish I could come over and look with you but I have a sick daughter in bed at the moment (and a sick sister to look after as well), but if there is anything else I can do please let me know.

There is a thread on FAQ which reminds us of all the things we can do when we have lost a dog. :luck: :luck: :luck:

:( i wish i could do something to help :(

i hope George is back home safe and well soon :luck: :luck: :luck:

Hope George gets found soon and I'm crossing everything for you :luck: :huggles:

George is home

And when he wakes up Im going to kill him

He was spotted by a motorist who saw him go into a bush at the side of a road and had the sense to call the Dog warden.

I was out until 3 this morning looking in the area he was found. I got the call from the council and went straight there. He had been caught by this time and had been fed a quarter of ham and was looking extremely pleased with himself and not a bit remorseful. When I pulled up he wagged his tail as much as to say "oh there you are, you took your time"

He has now had his breakfast and is sound asleep. He looks remarkably well all things being equal.

I dont think he realises just how many people have been out looking for him. Hattie and Shelley were glad to see him.
