:wub: I know this is more for Sighthounds etc... but my lil Grandad is a bit under the weather :huggles: (it will brighten his day to see ive put something about him) and i dont know of any GSD forums? and i know a few of you guys know him and ask about him.

Well he needs no Introduction in the dog world and is the president of the German shepherd league, the Sheffield GSD club and many many more. His is one of the worlds top judges of GSD's and travels all around the world judging them. Hes wrote a book, and alot of the breed standard! AS YOU CAN TELL... IM WELL PROUD OF HIM!

Unfortunatly after his judging at British Sieger show earlier this year he has been a bit unwell (old age finally kreeping in at 86!!) and he know needs an op on his eyes. (he blames them if he makes a bad desision when judging - lol!)

I know hes a bit fed up at the moment as he cant look after his kennels which are still full to the top! :rant: he wont down size!

So id just like to wish my "little grandy" get well soon :luck: & Cheer up. :huggles:

Best wishes for your grandad Kimberley. I'm sure my dad would have known him because they were of a similar age. My dad started showing when he was 14 so I'll bet they knew each other even though they were on different sides of the Pennines, in the past there was much more showing at smaller Limited and Sanction shows so you tended to know those in other breeds much better than you do now.

I'd love to chat to him, I'll bet he is so interesting.
