I've just heard from Dean (goodasgold) Teya, his whippet pup was attacked by a staffie x whilst she was on the lead and is having an operation on her front leg tomorrow.

Dawn was walking her on the local park this afternoon when it happened.

My 2 (on their leads) got scared by 2 off lead staffie crosses the other day. Luckily the owner had them sort of under control and I think they were friendly (but they came hurtling over - my heart was in my mouth). The owner certainly wasn't friendly though, judging by the language what came out when I told him to keep them on a lead  I didn't hang around for a slanging match though
