I know there are several people on this forum who are fans of Gillrugs dog coats, as I am , and were disappointed when they closed down a few weeks ago. Their website has been unavailable since their closure.
Quite by chance, yesterday, they came up on a Google search that I was doing, so I clicked the link - only to find that they appear to be back in business. Slightly disbelieving, I whacked off an e-mail to info@gillrugs.com, asking whether they had started up again, and this morning have had a reply to say that they are indeed open and taking orders. You cannot yet order via their website, as they are having problems with their server, but if you e-mail them at the above address they will send you an order form and brochure.
For anyone who has not used Gillrugs, they make the best-fitting dog coats I have ever seen. They are a bit more expensive than some other makes, but they are much better quality. My whippet, Fly, has worn his day in and day out during the winter for six years, and it still looks like new. They do coats which are lined with Flectalon, which reflects body warmth back to the dog - so even if the coat gets wet, it is still warm. They are made in a quilted style which makes them stiffer than other coats, so they stay in place when the dog runs.
Hope the Gillrugs fans will be pleased with this news!
