Anybody ever tried this complete dog food, £9 for a 15 kg bag, reads good and the protein, is 20 per cent, which i think is adequate.

I personally don't rate it much, but that is only because our dog's coats lost condition whilst on it,though we have very odd dogs they are all very funny about food.Took a long time to get them one that suited them all :teehee:

I'm sure other people feed it and find it grand ;)

Hi there, thanks for replying, my bitch will eat anything put in front of her, never upsets her stomach, so im just on the lookout for a good quality food she can stick with.

The only complete I've been pleased with is Burns, Eli & my little old rescue Piper both thrived on it, shiny coats, healthy poos, bright eyes and a marked improvement in behaviour with Eli when we went on to it (Piper was too old to be a loony!). Eli is delighted to discover they now do a venison and a duck variety too! He still gets his fresh chicken, fish etc for variety, but loves his Burns. It's not the cheapest, but because it has no artificial flavour enhancers/pungent smell, they don't get greedy and only seem to eat what they need, so is reasonably economical in the long run. You can read up on it at www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk All dogs are different of course, so hope you find whats right for you & Jill :)
