This weekend Gloucester hopes to resume racing. The first meeting will be predominantly trialling with the odd race made up on the day if requested. The meet starts at 10.30 and we hope to start racing at 11.00.

All this will of course depend on the weather. If the ground is frozen, clearly we will not be racing. So please, keep in contact via K9 or by phone,

for cancellations.

If you require a phone cancellation, you will have to notify me that you are coming.

Roy spoke to Geoff yesterday and said the ground is very hard. Please keep an eye on this site because I would like to leave cancellation to the last minute if possible but don't want anyone making an unnecessary journey.

The milder weather is due in on Sunday but it isn't clear exactly when.

Thanks for the update Lesley. Forecast does seem very contradictory, depending which station yo'ure on will keep eyes glued to site and fingers firmly crossed lol .

So Sorry guys but racing is most definitely OFF. All events on the ground have been cancelled this w/e as the surface is like iron and not predicted to thaw any time soon. Added to this is the risk of significant snow !! Guess we try again next week!
