She'll be able to go into Puppy...or any of the classes come to that but 1 class is usually a good start - unless you're chasing points for things.

Have you got a Ringcraft class in your area that you could go to for your own sanity as well as Tia's!

It does help to go through the ring routine before you're in the somewhat stressful situation of the ring with an audience.

But basically all dogs in the class Stand while judge looks around them all

Sometimes the whole class will move in a circle

Then one at a time you stack your dog on the table for individual examination by the judge (including teeth)

then move again individually up and down on a mat and myabe in a triangle

then line up again when all dogs have been looked at while judge picks out winners

But Ring etiquette is very much up to the judge as in where and how much moving etc.

As you would be in the first class make sure you are nearer the back of the line so you can watch others first.

:luck: :luck: :luck:

As long as she's well socialised (which I'm sure she is) you should be fine - The Kennel Club should be able to give you show training classes details or your Vet may know of a few.

I haven't taken Blue to ring craft yet - but I have got her used to standing (stacked) and having her teeth looked at.

If you go to this show, Bluebell and Tia will be in the same class! ;) if I can persuade my son that he'd like a trip to Malvern that is

It will be fine, i have togo andpick up all the entries received so far on friday, will check yours is there

Local dog trainers will guide you to a ringcraft class.

no - tias not too old but dont worry if you cant find a ringcraft class as not everyone goes before showing - it just gives you more insight to the whole malarcy

but its nit essential!

you'l be fine!

Getting Dolly to send you a schedule would be a good place to start - it has all the rules in and the entry forms are fairly self explanatory :))

Hope youve all received your schdules by now, still waiting for your entries,

Close next friday !!

Thanks for all the PM's for schdule requests, but no entries have been received from you yet :- "
