We would just like to congratulate ALL the runners finalists and winners at the Nationals at Gloucester on Sunday it was great to see all our friends again and to watch how much their pups have improved since we were down at Andover.
It would have been a good weekend for us also if it had not been for our Hateley and Gazza getting injured, we stayed at Dave and Diane Naylors Monday night and went to Paul Evans on Tuesday he checked them both out thoroughly then Hateley had an operation which was a complete success and we were told he may be able to resume training in about 2/3 weeks but it will take a good few more to get him race fit.
For Gazza though things are not so good he has torn his Grascilis muscle again and it looks like he would take at least until the end of the Season to get him cured and trained up so it will probably be next year ( if he makes a good recovery ) until he is seen back on a track again.
It has been a very distressing time the last few days ( Mandy has taken it really bad ) but i would love to say thanks Steve and Sue Evans who were both brilliant and very comforting to Mandy on Sunday and to steve and especially June Jonigk who has been tremendous keeping in touch the full time helping to keep our chins up and of course Dave and Diane Naylor who are always there to help if needed.
Thank you ALL so much for your comforting words of advice they have meant the world to us.
What is really annoying though  is that when so many wish you well there is always one who has a kick when you are down but thats enough about that.
So to ALL our true friends we would just like to say a HUGE THANK YOU.
And nearly forgot Well done to Hateley's brother Mozza  on gaining his Nationals Half Coat and the fact that Kevin had come along to watch ( as he always has ) it made it a Very Special Day.
And also well done to Stephy and Dougie Hood your little Evan is looking amazing and of course to Roger Nind for keeping every one smiling on the day.
