Due to frozen ground the meeting today has been cancelled

Apologies, too risky for dogs and heavy fog means that driving conditions are also dangerous.

We were coming up today, but as you said around this way, the ground hasn't thawed out for the last 4 day's ........and today the fog hasn't even lifted :blink: ..........It's just never worth the risk :thumbsup:

Same problem with us to at Maidstone Jack frost was in full force this morning!!!!

Spoke to my mum earlier who lives in Cheltenham. Less than 10 miles from the Gloucester ground. It's still thick fog there today. We wouldn't have been able to see the dogs on Sunday even if the ground had been okay.

Where I live we've had beautiful blue skies and the autumn colours were fabbo on Sunday. So we just took the dogs out for a cold but beautiful walk instead.

HTV West are forecasting snow by the end of the week. So I wonder if we'll be running next Sunday.

I hope its gonna be OK for racing this Sunday. I think we will have to have the AGM even if we can't race as all the catering is booked and everything. Oh and there is a bar too. Cheap booze :thumbsup:

I hope that the forecasters are not right about the weather at the weekend as it is sounding miserable (then again, when are they ever right :angry: ). Nevermind the dogs racing, want to get there in one piece and I don't fancy the trip over Birdlip if it is snowing - I'm not sure that I can even be tempted with food and booze (but I am a light weight & will be driving :- " )

I'm not sure that I can even be tempted with food and booze (but I am a light weight & will be driving

I doubt we'll have any snow, we never do ...........but if we do..........I'm sure if you ask them nicely, you'll be able to have the caterpillar this year :lol: , now that'll make the journey worth it :x
