A good time was had by all yesterday at a trials meeting. Not having enough dogs for a race programme certainly didn't spoil the fun and 2 dog trials were perfect for Darkling Drifter's return from injury. Well done Captain Morgan for giving Drifter the competition needed.

Lilo Lil, Xplicit and Conway Belle and Skye had several tussles, with Lil taking the honours on each occasion.

For me, the most rewarding was watching the progress of the Geisha Girl/Blue and White Dynamite litter mates. Wesley (belonging to Andrew and Alison Ingley) and Alice ( Lesley and India Harris) steadily progressed from coming out of an open trap to a closed one without a hitch, and both are running on strongly. Sister Daisy ( Sam and Shona) seemed to suddenly click and she too chased well.

The next few months will be really exciting watching them develop.

There will be racing next week, weather permitting, so please all names by Thursday pm so I can get a programme together. Cannot make it myself but hope you all have a good day.

I agree lesley, it was a really good morning . Thanks so m uch to Andy and Alison's morgan , it was just what Drift needed.. they look awesome pounding down the track together and he seems to be quite sound today thank goodness. The puppies are looking sweet and seem to have got the message pretty well already. Who needs quantity when there's such quality!!! Please book Drift in for racing next week.
