Why did you decide to run them off scratch & was it a success? Nice to see somebody breaking the mould.

Why didn't you put entry forms on the forum for this one our dogs were fit this time.

We've run one of the Gloucester Opens in this format for a few years now, since at least 1998 anyway.

It always seems to be well supported, 111 entries this year, which was a good entry for this strange year. So I think people probably enjoy it.

This open was advertised in Whippet news and on these pages in the 'Open Dates Post'. Also, your club Secretary had forms available. When I update this software there will be the option to 'pin' a topic to the top of the list - which will be useful for keeping a list of Opens always visible.

Anyway, I expect Gloucester will run the same format next year for one of their Opens.
