Just a reminder that Gloucester WRC are starting club racing again on 2nd October and weekly thereafter till November 27th.

Everyone welcome, members or not.

PM, email or ring me by 8pm Thursday nights before racing.

No thats Ok Barbara - I only need to know dogs names for the programme if they are racing. If anyone wants to just trial dogs I just want to know they are coming so that I can let them know if for some reason we had to cancell, thats all.

Does he sing as well as ride the bike then Darc?
 
I hate to admit this, but we had abit of a do as to where to go as I wanted to go to Oxford (sorry Judy) But Rob won as he wanted to ride that damn bike :rant: (and I thought that he was supposed to be there to help me with the dogs!)

We will still be there, but with a depleted field. Poor Merle really did take a hard knock in that race at the Inde, he has damaged his pelvis and is likely to be out for a minimum of 3 months :( on top of that both Tyler and Fletch will be out for at least a month : double :( :(

So Ross and Iffy are coming along for a hand slip instead.

The location is Dowty sports & social club, Down Hatherley Lane, Staverton (few minutes from Junction 11, M5). The arrow on this map shows the specific location.

An enjoyable casual day today, nice to meet you Kim & family and the lovely Tilly who was a star on her first day racing. Ross and Iffy have not moved from the settee since we got home, think that they really enjoyed themselves :wub:
 
Yes it was good to meet you all, and wasn't Tilly a little star - straight after the lure without hesitation, and then through an open trap too. She did you proud, and I'm sure she will enjoy her racing career. Bet she sleeps well tonight :thumbsup:

It was a lovely and relaxed day's trialling and that's before we went to the pub. (w00t)
 
Yes - Tilly was brilliant, especially for her first time ever at a race meeting. A complete natural :thumbsup:

Darc, have only just seen your post about Merl, Fletch & Tyler :( . Hope they are back to fitness soon.
 
Judy, Didn't you wonder why they were not there today??? (Rob said that you were too busy gassing to notice :D ) It was only when I got home that I realised that I hadn't talked to you about what had happened to Merlie. The boys were busy wrecking my parents house today (well Fletch and Tyle, I expect that Merle was curled up asleep being spoilt rotten) - so much for them taking it steady and resting :oops:
