can anyone help me with this question, did Good as gold ever beat the bitch at the championships to become overall supreme champion

the information I have is=

1972 Measham overall winner Dasher good as gold second

1973 Measham Wendygo winner good as gold second

so who won overall at 1970 at Ashington

and 1971 at Measham

THERE HAVE ONLY EVER BEEN TWO DOGS THAT BEAT THE BITCHES IN OVERALL RUN OFFS FOR BWRA SUPREME.THE FIRST WAS GOLD FAME A VERY GOOD DOG FROM THE MIDLANDS WHO BEAT BRISTOLS PAULAS TREASURE WHO IF I REMEMBER RIGHTLY WENT LAME NOT TAKING ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE WINNER,THE SECOND WAS MY OWN ARCTIC FOX OR NWRF FALCONERS GOLD WHO BEAT THE VALIANT MICKYS MAID AFTER A DEAD HEAT.LUCKY HAD 8 RACES THAT DAY AND HE MADE ME AND HIS TRAINER JEFF STEVENS REALLY PROUD.

ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPARE BUT GOOD AS GOLD WAS A FANTASTIC DOG BUILT LIKE THE PROVERBIAL SHIT HOUSE.WE HAD HIS LITTER SISTER AT OUR CLUB BRAESWOOD CALLED SILVER DAWN A DOUBLE RACING CHAMPION WHO AT 28 LBS DOMINATED ALL THE SCRATCH RACES WHICH WHERE RUN OFF BEFORE THE HANDICAP.

i believe the first dog supreme was yorky boy . but that run off was on time

LITTLE LUCY WON THE RUN OFF OWNED BY JIM SIMPSON OF RIPON WHO HAD HIS OWN PRIVATE TRAINER OF WHIPPETS AND PIGEONS KEN ARNOLD WHO HAD A BITCH CALLED BLACKIE A R CH.INTERESTING THING ABOUT LITTLE LUCY WAS SHE WAS BRED FROM BILCO YOUNG LUCY A GOOD DAM WHO THREW R CH SCRAT FROM HER SECOND LITTER.BUT WAS OUT OF A WHIPPET CROSS COLLIE.JUST SHOWS THE BLOODLINES NEED NEW BLOOD.

thanks for the informanion everybody. as I thought Good as gold never won overall, does'nt take anything away from him though, fantastic achievment to win four supremes in four years running, a real legend,sired a boatload of champions also
