Hi all, a neighbour has fallen love with our Whippet bedlington 'Mouse' and as they lost their whippet before Christmas they are very keen to re-home a youngish dog or bitch. A great home is assured please get in touch if you can help

hello, I also repllied to this message in the whippet section but I'm keen to find some dogs homes (even though I never met these hounds), so the more listings the better

Evesham Greyhound & Lurcher rescue http://www.lurcher.org.uk/dogs%20for%20adoption.htm (some of the hounds for adoption are the size of largish whippets)

In Ireland: Culeen and Heather (both blue and white - maybe the same bitch under different names or else litter mates because Culeen has been homeless for a while and would be about a year old now)

http://www.irishanimals.com//adoptagreyhound.html

and http://www.irishanimals.com//kerry_homes.html

for lurchers see also Smokey and Heather, Honey, Mallow and Dan at the Kerry page (and Violet looks lurchery also)

Scooter, brindle whippet cross dog listed at http://www.irishanimals.com//limerick_homes.html

(other dogs currently advertised on that page include greyhounds and lurchers)

There are some superb dogs (and cats) on this website looking for homes - some of the stories are so sad - how could someone leave a bitch wandering the streets with her three pups in tow (the brindle boxer x) - Some of the others look to be in a pitiful condition when found - I would love to give a home to the black/white pointer cross.
