A very early morning for us. Mandy (Ridgesetter Belrose Mandy) is at Sydney airport going through her final customs check to board the flight to her new home in Christchurch, New Zealand. We hope that she arrives safe and well and that Angela, Ian and the kids (Cherishme Whippets) will have many years of happiness with her.

Mandy, (Ch Kabharay Hugo Boss x RIdgesetter Ming Dynasty) won her classes at both Whippet Shows and the Sighthound Show over Easter so we hope she will continue her winning ways in NZ.

Missinig her already. :(

Cheers

:luck: :luck: for a safe journey and successful show career in the land of the long white cloud! :luck: :luck:

How very exciting for Angela - I'm sure she'll have lots of fun with her :) Hopefully she will travel to the North Island for the Nationals so we get to see her in the flesh :p Hope you packed some woollen pj's for Mandy - it's cold down in the South :teehee:

Just heard she arrived safely and is curled up in Angela's lap. :D Much relieved.

Didn't pack her PJ's and heard it's pretty cold over there. Angela will have to keep cuddling her.

ooh she will need her "thermal underwear" for the south island. From what I hear it gets rather chilly there.

I have wanted to go to NZ since I saw Lord Of The Rings.....one day.

Good Luck with her new home Toni! Do you have to have K9 passports for moving a dog between Aus and NZ? Just curious! :)

BTW I'd love to have a lookie at your beasties but your link isn't working...

You need a vet clearance certificate for export (don't know if that is the UK equivalent to a k9 passport).

Best wishes to Mandy and her new owners. Hopefully they will join k9 ? and keep us posted on her achievements and those of their other dogs and perhaps post a few pics now and then.
