The Little Git (as he's now officially known being as the o:) phase is well and truly over :b ) has been sneaking out a lot recently, I've just discovered the object of his attention: a gooseberry cordon

I notice the bird netting had all been pulled of my nice red desert gooseberry too :- " Either he's got a teflon nose or he's very clever at avoiding the spines.

this is very funny as ive just had to cover our gooseberry bush up this morning from the jaws of finley (w00t) .

finley is very much like guto in looks and tastes  :p

One of his 5 a day ;) ...... what a healthy lad he is :D ......My old Greyhound Beth used to even eat raw Rhubarb .....it wasn't good I can tell you :x

No he doesn't like them cooked, refused to finish off my dish of gooseberry, elderflower and lime coulis (though he ate the lemon cake it was poured on ;) ).

It has to be said he's taking after his great uncle in this respect, who was an enthusiastic gooseberry thief in his time (though he doesn't just stop at fresh fruit; no food items, human or poultry, are safe in this house any more  :sweating: )

Well someone knows a good thing when he sees it  :huggles: Guto I love goosegogs straight from the bush too - the best way...

Bless him (w00t)

I wonder if he will have eaten all the cake, or if he's bringing some for Sunday :- "

i was getting worried about mine eating the gooseberrys ,its nice to know there not the only ones

what great taste your dogs have  much better than my little puppy Tito who thought the decomposed mouse he found today was the most delicious thing he's had in his life :x

I tried to get it off him with a titbit of cheese and he just tucked the mouse to the back of his jaws (little legs dangling out) and tried to add the cheese as a chaser :x :x

I will try to smuggle some past him; it could be a difficult mission though

Don't worry he's been there, done that too :x

He is very good when he's not being greedy o:) ; we came across a flock of pheasant poults scurrying away from us last week, he was very obedient and left them immediately when I told him :D
