Hi, thought I'd ask for some advice here before an expensive trip to the vet! My cocker spaniel has a small graze on the tip of her nose. It's not bothering her in any way. It hasn't been bleeding but has taken some skin off. I've been cleaning it with salt water. I've tried to put wound powder on it but she licks it off straight away. Due to it being on the tip of her nose, there's no way of covering it, and as it's in a place that gets locked all the time, I'm worried how it can heal? Any ideas of what to do?

Above should've said licked not locked!

Just try to distract her with chew toys etc. Make sure she is tired enough, too, to sleep. It should heal in her sleep.

Thanks, it's difficult because it's in a place that a dog naturally swipe their tongue across. I only noticed it yesterday morning so hopefully it'll heal naturally.
