Thanks to everyone who showed up, weather was disappointing but hey ho.

Some cracking racing and fastest time of the day going to (what is going to be a very special bitch) Geoff's youngster Sugar Mouse. Well done Mac Spot, can't believe he managed to hold off such good dogs for a little un and also Tommy's with Overall of the day Maizee Mu on her own sand. Congrats Jacqui with Avit who looked strong all day - well done mate :cheers:

Good job we hadn't had as many beers as Tommy, whilst arguing with the stupid pr**k of a neighbour who thinks he owns all the fe**ing street :rant:

Lastly and speaking on behalf of all the club members i can't speak highly enough of Rod and Louise who run the track and bend over backwards for us every week, this weekend being no exception, they have also just told us they would like to sponsor this event every year now. Also the club would like to say a big thank you to Wendy for doing a fantasic job of making the presentaion jackets :cheers: :cheers: :thumbsup:

Sorry we weren't able to get there today but then saying that having heard about the weather maybe not so sorry :D

Well done to all the winners and special congratulations to Geoff and Hazel with Mouse with the fastest time of the day, you must be so proud of her and also congratulations to Jacs and Dobby with Supreme Scratch.

Really nice to hear the owners of the stadium would like to sponser this event yearly, they are brill.
 
Just right tess won the upto 23lb Tiger ellie won the upto 29lb and no entries in the 35lb class :cheers:

Thanks Marie, she was just showing off for the Irish lads and lasses :- " Couldn't stay to watch Dobs win the supreme scratch,I was soaking wet and I just wanted to get home and have a hot shower :wacko: ,and my roast pork dinner :p

Thanks Karen - seems the weather followed the wrong Karen today - i always blame you, how can i get away with it now :blink: :blink: But don't worry too much i think i got wet enough for both of us :) But other than weather and the odd break down due to weather i believe too, a good day was had by all well done all the winners and organisers :D

Trap lads did brill also in the pouring down rain as did the young lad on the trip, although i guess his money lasted all of 2 minutes on the bandit. :lol:

I was gonna get us all a drink out of them o:) but Vicky wouldn,t let me :( :oops: there in the tin along with your trophy I think
 
well done Lyn and Mals Tarkow winning the no limit and AVIT and TURKISH taking the other two scratch classes TYBOUND veteran scratch and SUGAR MOUSE yearling scratch love the scratch racing

some cracking times on the second runs all within 100th of a second

would love to have seen them run off together would have been a cracking final

well done all the other winners thanks to those of you ventured over to the North West from as far as Hull, Scotland and Ireland what was lacking in quantity was made up for in quality, thanks to the NORTH WEST crew for another great open and of course or hosts Rod and Louise Westhoughton greyhound stadium

Dave the video man did come but unfortunately the weather was too bad

think I was the only one who came home as I went dry and sober :oops:
