Alfie_in_red_bed_resized.jpg :( :( Having 'rescued' Alfie from an awful kennel, he really needs a home of his own. All his wounds are healed up, he is vaccinated, microchipped and housetrained. He is great with other dogs met out on walks and with any dog as big as a Whippet or bigger. He is NOT good with smaller dogs at all. He isn't a chewer, but does 'collect' things from worktops etc., so is used to being caged for short periods of time. If anyone can help, please PM me or phone 01909 732458, I'm in the South Yorkshire/Nort Notts area, Yvette

Hope Alfie finds a new home soon

Emma :)

any luck yet?

i do hope so - he's such a lovely dog! and his markings are so striking too - he's bright orange like a tiger close-up! i've never seen a dog that bright before! :)

Good :luck: , Alfie!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news! :D Emma.x

red_bed_Meg_r.jpg  :D Yes! Alfie now has his own personnal home - near enough to see him occassionally too. He's even more handsome now he's put more weight on, talking of which, Meg has too! The first time I let her off the lead, she played for a little bit with a boxer and two terriers, then laid down and went to sleep! Honey whippet was still running about but Meg just slept in the sun! :p She still sits when told, and has been a real angel since she arrived, the only 'damage' done is to my kitchen door - she bent it trying to open it and then it fell off in my hand so I couldn't get out! As you can gather, she doesn't like to be left in the kitchen, so she stays in the lounge with Honey if I have to go out  She's so friendly it takes ages to walk her as she has to greet everyone, even those who don't look friendly! Her favourite game is tug of war with Lizzy, so she always wins :D Yvette

well done, that's great news about Alfie! Meg looks nice :*

Yvette, i just love Megs pink collar, its so girlie  Good news about Alfie

Wah!!! Little Meg!

Cor - i've missed so much while my exams were on - i've not been on K9 for weeks - been suffering withdrawl! :p

Meg looks sooo happy! :D She must be well & truly settled now.

We never had any probs leaving her in the kitchen when she was here - but they do know how to get what they want in the end! hope the doors better...

She sure does look pretty in her collar :* very girlie!

I'm so glad Alfie found a home & that its close by too.

Emma :D

:p Welcome back Emma , you must be soooooo glad your exams are over! I've still got 3 weeks left to invigilate for! Glad you and Cheryl like Meg's collar, she has a yellow and a lilac one too, and a pink one with studs for special occassions! I have put a new handle on the kitchen door - AFTER I had to climb through the window!  Meg still lies down in the field when off the lead, espescially if it' sunny 8) , Yvette

Can I ask where you got the pink collar from? Pink would look great on my l'il whippy :p
