Hi

I am looking for a good greyhound vet in the Northwest ,my racing Whippet came of the track lame at the Independent open ,she is walking fine now but i would love to have her looked at by a good qualified greyhound vet.

   Imformation gratefully received

Try kevin reeves in warrington, we use him with all ours and if you've seen hobgoblin's page on k9 you'll see what he's done for her, the number is 01925 232221, I know plenty of greyhound/lurcher and whippet men who think he's good.

I would'nt use anyone else, and my dogs are my babies :)

ps.......practicaly everyone at our club uses him :p

Thanks Michelle

I have been to my own vets in the past with racing injuries and although they are very good sometimes I feel they don't really get to the bottom of the injury because they are just not used to seeing many racing dogs. ???

:) Hi Ste

You've hit the nail on the head there regarding vets.  The problem is that they are not used to seeing racing injuries, and therefore don't really know what to look for.

I have been to Kevin Reeves with Bubble and Squeak, and as Michelle and others did, I found him to be excellent too.  Sorry to hear Jazz is injured :(

Let me know how you get on, and I hope she's ok.
