pleased to get a call , serena(wiggley) and lucas her son , to come stay and have some time with the kids on days out , i have a norfolk museums pass so we all headed off for a day out at Gressenhall rural life museum and poorhouse !!! some pics will follow when my fone finally decides to upload :angry: even thomas involved himelf when we all dressed up and assisted in the enactment of the poorhouse days , I was a victorian wife ( A GOOD ONE TOO I WAS TOLD!!!!) alfie and lucas were children entering the poorhouse with their grandparents , and our candice ( lamping mad) was a maid named polly!!! Thomas was the porter !! what a giggle!!!
the rural life farm let us have a tractor ride round and looked at how farm life was over 100 yrs ago, saw newborn piglets and ducklings , had a go at milking too !! plenty for kids and adults to see
today we went to a family fun day near my sister , just a fiver per car , canoeing , archery, abseiling and many side shows with an assult course too , kids have had a great weekend , all worn out now!!!!
if you have the chance to get a museums pass from your area id advise you to get 1 they are excellent value for money and will repay themselves in 2 trips
the weekend in total has cost us £13 , all we done was made a pack up !!
a great weekend with good friends and looking forwards to the next!!! but with serena showing and me doing the game fairs , who knows when it will be lol
